Indulgence Drop in oval tub.

The Indulgence oval drop in tub Comes with a standard whirlpool package that includes 12 jets. It can be purchased as drop in tub only, whirlpool and air bath and any of our combination whirlpool and air bathtub systems. The Indulgence is the ideal two person drop in oval whirlpool tub and can be installed in an alcove, corner or along any wall. The extra deep oval tub is also compatible with our ultra therapy system that includes a back and lumbar jet cluster at each end of the whirlpool tub. When bathing solo, you can enjoy the benefit of the extra hydro therapy jets on your feet and back at the same time.

Tub size.
The Indulgence oval drop in tub is size 41X70 inch. This allows it to fit nicely into a standard 72X42 opening that is so commonly available in the construction industry without appearing cramped. As with any other drop in tub, it can be set on top of the tile for a cleaner installation.

Building  the tub deck.
The Indulgence is also available as an air bath tub, but you should be aware that the framing hight will be about an inch and a half higher in this configuration. Make sure you download the framing specifications from this website page. You can also request a free framing template that is used to actually cut the oval hole in your tub deck. Tub deck and faucet considerations.
The Indulgence oval drop in tub can also be used with tub deck mount faucets. Most oval drop in tubs are designed for the faucet to mount on the framed deck and finish materials like tile and granite. The advantage of this is that any water that drips from your hands for the faucet handles will drain back into the tub and not on your tub deck. It also is preferred should future maintenance be required to the faucets.

Izzi News on the Indulgence FS

Izzi is currently working on a free standing version of the Oval indulgence tub that is slated for release in 2012. This will allow tub installation without a deck being built. Stay tuned for further developments of the Indulgence FS model.
