The Emerald 5 is a five foot rectangular bath, with armrests and an end drain. The narrow width lends itself to remodel jobs or smaller bathrooms, and it has a drip less edge for shower applications.
The Emerald-5 is the ideal bath for any of the following configurations: Soaker tub, whirlpool shower, bath shower, whirlpool bathtub, Airbath, and any of the therapy combination packages. This 32x60 size Bathtub is well suited for average to smaller persons of size and weight. Typically up to 210 pounds in weight and 6 feet in length. Persons taller then 6 foot, may be better served by a longer bath. Heavier persons may want to consider a bigger bath that will accommodate more water displacement. This bathtub is not recommended for two people. Although this model is not considered a large bath, it is about double the volume of a standard Bathtub and is ideal for limited space and installations. In most cases the Emerald-5 works as a replacement for a standard 30X60 bath/shower. If you intend to use it a as shower in addition to a bathtub, you will want to order it with the optional tiling flange.
